Easy No-Knead Bread

Ingredients

430 grams

Bread Flour

1/4 tsp (1 gram)

Instant Yeast

345 grams

Water (warm)

2 tsp (8 grams)

Kosher Salt

As needed

Cornmeal

Steps:

  1. Mix bread flour, instant yeast, and kosher salt together by hand in a large mixing bowl

  2. Add water to the mixture and stir until dough is shaggy and little flour remains

  3. Cover with plastic wrap and keep in warm location

  4. Wait 12-24 hours

  5. Pour dough on a lightly-floured surface and fold over on itself 4x (top -> bottom, bottom -> top, left -> right, right -> left)

  6. Gently shape dough into a ball shape

  7. In a clean mixing bowl, lay a kitchen towel generously coated with cornmeal

  8. Place dough in bowl and cover with another kitchen towel

  9. Wait 2 hours

  10. Put dutch oven with lid into the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F

  11. Wait 30 minutes

  12. Take dutch oven out of the oven. Place parchment paper liner in the bottom of the dutch oven

  13. Place your dough on the parchment paper and cover generously with cornmeal. Cover and put in the oven.

  14. Wait 30 minutes

  15. Take cover off of the dutch oven and continue baking

  16. Wait 20 minutes

  17. Take dutch oven out of the oven. Remove bread and let cool on a baking rack for at least 15 minutes. Enjoy.
